Nanyuki Rally All Set Go Says Dsquare

NANYUKI- The world famous Nanyuki Rally Championship returns to action with the Nanyuki Rally on September 7 to 8, Dsquare Ventures David Nderitu, part of the organisers has said.

"Its all set, go!" the realtor who organises The Realtors Expo at Cedar Mall told MP PRESS speaking on phone from Nanyuki
The organisers of the famous round of the series have prepared three spectator stages that will be done twice soon after the event kicks off from the Cedar Mall in Nanyuki at 8 am on Saturday morning.
The entire 283.91km-event will be run on private land of which competitive distance will be 159.36km.
All the three sections, Batian View 2.30km, Lolldaiga One 31.43km and Lolldaiga Two 45.95km will be done twice. The Ceremonial Start will take place from the Cedar Mall in Nanyuki Town on Saturday, September 8.
Drivers are expected to be in Nanyuki by Friday morning next week in time for the official reconnaissance of the route. Scrutineering will take place on the same day at the Cedar Mall.
Baldev Chager and Ravi Soni, winners in the Mombasa Rally on August 12, are expected to carry on with their winning ways in the Nanyuki Rally.

Championship leaders, Carl Tundo and Tim Jessop, who failed to record their fourth straight victory of the season after winning the previous three rounds, will be aiming for a good score in Nanyuki. In-form Nikhil Sachania, the only handicapped driver in the competition is expected in Nanyuki after an impressive ninth place in Mombasa driving a modified Mitsubishi Lancer with Alfir Khan as his navigator.
Carl Tundo leads the series with 118 points followed by Kabras Rally Teammates, Baldev Chager (96) and Onkar Rai (79).
Ian Duncan, the former multiple winner of the KNRC and Safari Rally titles, missed out of the Mombasa Rally. It is hoped the famous rally driver will return to action in the Nanyuki Rally.
Also missing out of the last rally was Karan Patel, who is due to tackle the Tanzania Rally this weekend.
