MP Charles Nguna CNN Want Research On Sugar Tech As MPs Seek To Revive Sugar Industry

KISUMU - Woes currently afflicting Kenya's suger industry will be a thing of the past if a caucus of MPs converging in Kisumu will come up with a clear, strategic roadmap towards a sustained revival of the embattled industry, Mwingi West MP Charles Nguna (CNN) has said.




Wiper MP Nguna Is Advocating For Research On New Technologies That Will Kickstart Ailing Industry



"Research should be undertaken to establish the most efficient technologies and production capacities needed to make the sugar industry competitive on a regional scale.



"From the findings the government should undertake to purchase the ideal technologies and consolidate the factories to economically viable sizes" said the Wiper legislator speaking to the Press on phone from the lakeside city of Kisumu.
