Wiper Mp Condemns Kitui Blogger Asaault

MWINGI-Maestro Kitui Wiper legislator Hon Gideon Mulyungi has today condemned with the strongest terms possible the alleged assault of a popular Kitui based blogger and youth leader, MP PRESS reported Friday.



Meanwhile police in Kitui have launched an investigation into an alleged assault case in which the popular blogger was allegedly beaten by person known to him, local media reports said.



"I condemn the attack on the popular Kitui Blogger and youth leader. The attempt by anyone to gag the media belongs to the past. We are living in an age where the media is shaping the policies development" said Gideon Mulyungi speaking to MP PRESS on phone from Nairobi.

Yohana Kimwele, a prolific blogger was on Sunday confronted by a clinical officer at a popular hotel who attempted to hit him with a blunt object, a police OB seen by MP PRESS showed Friday.

Kitui Sen.Kiio Wambua Issues 7 Day Ultimatum To Ngilu Over Multimillion Crusher Ownership

BY PATRICK KIMANZI , & CITIZEN DIGITAL Reporter, KITUI - Kitui Senator Enock Wambua has issued a *7* day ultimatum to the Kitui County Governor Kaluki Ngilu to urgently provide full information regarding the ownership of the controversial multi-million crusher she purchased last year. The crusher, proposed in 2016 by *Lower Yatta Multi-purpose Cooperative Society* was set to benefit more than 9,000 members but the machinery is sitting idle to date due to the controversy surrounding it's ownership.
