1 . Hon. Gideon Mutemi Mulyungi is the Mp for Mwingi Central constituency popularly elected to the 12th Parliament on a Wiper ticket; he ranks top amongst trending politicians in Kenya today.
2. The popular Mp stunned everyone when he disbursed over Ksh. 20 M CDF bursaries to all 7,000 applicants in April 2018.
3. In the last three years his personal Mulyungi Educational Bursary Kitty fund, worth Ksh. 30M distributed Ksh. 10M to over 2,2000 university and college students.
4. Architect Gideon Mulyungi served as Works PS in the Kibaki-Raila coalition Government 2012 that steered the Kenyan economy growth at a 6% rate.
5. Hon. Mulyungi hard-line stance over Mui coal basin mining enjoys a popular back-up from fellow Kitui MPs and MCAs who in May signed the peopledriven Mui Declaration that opposes Kitui Mining Pact; he demands constituents involvement and adquate compensation by the coal mining expedition.
