Ndotto And Kitui MCAs Back Mulyungi Clarion Call For Urgent New Modern Enziu Bridge.

MWINGI - Kitui MCAs led by the Kitui County Assembly Speaker Hon. Ndotto, residents in Nguni and Nuu wards in Mwingi Central constituency this week joined area Wiper Mp Hon. Gideon Mulyungi's clarion call to authorities to swiftly commence constructing a new modern bridge at the killer Enziu drift in order to avert loss of lives, local media reported.
"Enough is enough. We wont sit and watch as lives of our people continue to be put at risk - through negligence, through poor workmanship and through acute marginalisation. We fully stand behind Gideon Mulyungi and local leaders in their incessant push to compel the Jubilee government to put up a new, modern and a state-of-the-art bridge at the deadly Enziu drift which the Mp has termed as a deathtrap .
"We can not afford to lose one more life - otherwise are going to call for a demo and block the busy Mwingi-Garissa road - if push must come to shove' said Wiper MCA Jefferson Kiruru.
Other notable leaders and businessmen who since last week threw their weight behind Gideon Mulyungi call to end loss of lives at the deadly Enziu drift in Mwingi who joined the two leaders include MCAs Hons Charles Maema (Kivou), Kavolonza (Mui), Deiys Mukala (Waita), Jefferson Kiruru (Nguni), Hon. Ben Sila, Mr. Muna Vira (CDF).
