Mwingi Juniors Zap Bafana 2 Nil In Makindu, As Mulyungi Awards 10K

Mwingi Junior Stars jilted Bafana football club 2:0 in penalties in a weekend U20 match played in Makindu on Saturday.

MJS will now play Division 2 league, which will cover 20 teams from Meru, Embu,Isiolo, Makueni ,Machakos and Kitui, said Masgara the MJS club captain.

Red Eagles will play Mulata Mutunda this Sunday at Musila Stadium.

Meanwhile Mwingi Central Mp, who is fast joining the echelons of football parliamentarian buffs, donates Ksh 10,000 to the team.

Western regional finals will be held in Kanduyi stadium, Bungoma on 3rd /4th February while the National finals are slated at Bukhungu Stadium, Kakamega from 22nd.
