KITUI-Today I had a very fruitful meeting with the Kitui County security committee (Ag. County  Commissioner, Police Commander, head of County Intelligence and County head of CID). We discussed in great detail the security situation in our county with a bias on Ngomeni Ward  (Kasiluni, Mandongoi, Kavani and Ikime). We came out of the meeting with two resolutions:



1. The camels being illegally and forcefully graced within Kitui County be driven out as a matter of urgency.

2. A cut line be established along the Kitui-Tana River porous border. This being a county government function, we shall engage the relevant authorities for action.



In the meantime, we have agreed to take a collegiate approach in addressing all security challenges in our county. Our security is a our responsibility. I shall personally lend whatever contribution to the team to ensure that all our people and their property are safe.

Kitui Sen.Kiio Wambua Issues 7 Day Ultimatum To Ngilu Over Multimillion Crusher Ownership

BY PATRICK KIMANZI , & CITIZEN DIGITAL Reporter, KITUI - Kitui Senator Enock Wambua has issued a *7* day ultimatum to the Kitui County Governor Kaluki Ngilu to urgently provide full information regarding the ownership of the controversial multi-million crusher she purchased last year. The crusher, proposed in 2016 by *Lower Yatta Multi-purpose Cooperative Society* was set to benefit more than 9,000 members but the machinery is sitting idle to date due to the controversy surrounding it's ownership. While issuing the 7 day ultimatum, *Sen.
