Maai Nguni Residents Get Ksh 2M Area MP Goodies

" It Does Not Rain During A Tsunami...It Pours!"



MAAI, Nguni Sunday - Mwingi Central Wiper MP Gideon Mulyungi today continued ratcheting up the rapid implementation of his ambitious MP Manifesto when he dished out more than Ksh 2M MP goodies to Maai area in Nguni Ward, local media reported on Sunday.



"During my regime all prymary schools in Mwingi will spot new blue coloured roofs. Not a single pupil will be forced to stay at home due to schools as long as I remain at the helm of my constituency" the fiery legislator, who is rapidly becoming the Kitui anti-corruption czar told the residents at Maii town.



Earlier the MP had graced a church service at the incomplete Maii PCF church where he promised to cater for roofing apparatus and donated Ksh 55,000 for ad hoc expenses.



At the dusty Maai Market, the legislator, who has become an hero to his people, and whose zeal for development is rubbing Kitui enemies of development the wrong way, was welcomed with a thunderous applause by residents in their hundreds, joining frenzied traditional dancing troupes, and women groups for a jig at the centre of the market.

On education and institutional infrastructural upgrades The MP donated Ksh 300,000 to six primary schools including Kwa Nzili DEB, Nguni, Nzengeni, Maai, Kwa Nganga, Katooni, Masavi, and Syunoo all in Nguni Ward.

Other MP 2M Goodies For Maai, Nguni Today included Ksh140,000 to 4 churches (plus 20 chairs) &Ksh 50,000 to 6 students in cash bursaries.

"I will construct a toilet and Maiibchief's office for you if the lackadaisical Kitui, whose power wrangles, and marginalisation by the top echelons at the helm continue to marginalise my people" said the MP after giving out Ksh 50,000 for table banking.
