MALINDI-Coast based producer Jay T (formerly Worsty) is set to launch a new gospel album christened 'Blessed Generation' Vol 1 in April, after turning to gospel music and joining a trove of Kenyan artistes who have ditched secular music to preach the word of God, reports MP PRESS.
Produced at Jay T's Street Vibes Records in Malindi, the album is set to rock airwaves and the internet after its grand launch.
The Street Vibes Records, a premier music production house at the coast has produced over 25 artistes since its launch.
The 10 track album features notable coastal gospel singers including Amina Blessed, Pastor Sillus Borah, Jay Samson, Daddy Willy and Jay T himself.
"I am working on my ten track solo album called "Nimuabudu Nani" said Jay T speaking to MP PRESS from Malindi.
Born in Malindi, Kenya, Jay T has been in the music industry as a secular RnB singer since 2008 before shifting to the gospel world of music as a high profile gospel singer and producer, this after getting saved in 2016.
Sunday Buzz reporter at the coast, Patrick Kimanzi interviewed Worsty in 2008 at the Coast Music Awards for Nation Media Group.
