MWINGI--This week has been like no other for popular Kitui development oriented lawmaker Hon. Gideon Mulyungi.

The Mwingi Central Mp political adept grip on regional politics is causing jitters, and leaving tongues wagging as he goes on launching hundreds of projects unperturbed.





Local media dubbed it a weekend of politial coalitions and realignments as Hon. Mulyungis new political nexus comprising five Wiper musketeers made fast and furious forays into the constituency flanking the iconic Mp inspecting stalled CGok projects and launched new ones in Nguni, Nuu, Kivou and Ukasi.

Wiper leader HE Kalonzo Musyoka, EALA MP Kennedy Musyoka and Kitui County Women Rep Irene Kasalu have also been in his entourage.

'It is good for the development of Mwingi people, its is good for the sustainability of Mwingi livelihoods, it has once again proved Mulyungi's infectious charisma, strengthened his influence in the Wiper party and his Wiper bandwagon has more space for more politicians to join his fast moving political juggernaut' said Hon. Ben Sila today in Kitinga Pry. School.

When this reporter asked him if Gideon Mulyungi's new moves are geared towards his quest for Kitui Governorship, Mwingi firebrand politician 'Ndumbuli' said the ramifications of the Mulyungi's new coalitions and cohesions are a sure bet as he keeps his focus on the big seat.

"Everyone knows Mulyungi. The man is a go getter! if he focuses on something, he goes for it with such a passion, and courage and political wit and pathos that leave even his own aides panting!

If you are holding something that Mulyungi wants be afraid, be very afraid!' said Kivou MCA Charles Maema speaking to TV reporters at Kanzoka in Kivou Ward where the MP convoy inspected a SEKU campus white elephant project.
